Specialist manufacturer of bespoke printed boards and hospital applications, Visual Systems Healthcare, acquired a new Huddersfield building to accommodate its growing business.
The business, which was first established in 1981, has recently bought a 7800 sq ft building, close to its headquarters in Skelmanthorpe Technology Park.
“We are thinking big here at Visual Systems Healthcare! Not only have we extended into a new building, but we have also become ISO 9001 accredited!” says Chris Hunter the Managing Director of the company.
The Managing Director says, “We are proud to be headquartered in a scenic area of Huddersfield and it’s fantastic to be able to invest more in this town. We are very proud to be supporting the local community and we will continue to do so through our expansion plans, part of which will be the employment of new local workforce”.
The company’s goals starting 2017 are to move the public healthcare range of products into the private sector and parallel markets. Chris Hunter explains that “the new warehouse and offices will allow the company’s expansion. New product manufacturing opportunities have already arisen and we are now ready for that.”
As part of the new market targeting strategy, Chris mentions a key project that the company has just won: “Early last month we became the preferred supplier of a global supplier of healthcare support services. We are in the process of closing more deals with similar suppliers to the UK market and this will open up even more exciting opportunities Visual Systems Healthcare”.
